Known as the Valencian Sistine Chapel the Church of San Nicolás  contains more than 1,900 m2 of frescoes painted between 1690 and 1693 by Antonio Palomino and his disciple Dionís Vidal. They completely cover the interior with scenes from the lives of San Nicolás de Bari and San Pedro Mártir.
